For this technical report, we analysed responses from 16 responses to 17 government consultations related to land use. Following this analysis, we conducted 9 interviews with representatives from most of these organisations. The analysis explores various stakehold.ers’ views about what rural land in Scotland is for, what environmental and social issues are most concerning, and what should be done about those to reach a desired land use future.
